Our trusty 2003 Hyundai Elantra GT (hatchback) has become somewhat less trusty, and with 120,000 miles on the clock all the warranties have expired. For the past few months we've been researching a car purchase. Much deliberation and many test drives have taken place, but this weekend we selected and purchased our new car. It's a 2011 Mazda3s Grand Touring (hatchback). We got it in "Graphite Mica." We looked at bigger cars like the Mazda5 and RAV4 and more economical cars like the Fit or the new focus, but the Mazda3s was just the right blend of size, space, control, and fun. Also, I think we just really like hatchbacks.
Peregrine thinks it's great, and we're teaching him how to say "zoom zoom."
